About

What is Oneighty?

Oneighty is a youth ministry out of Kern Christian Center in Bakersfield, Ca. It was birthed on Easter Sunday 1995. Oneighty provides high school teenagers with a ‘positive venue” where they can turn their lives around for Jesus Christ. It is fun, energetic and very loud! Again, it is created just for treenagers! There is a game room with air hockey, pool tables and more also live “Christian” band, D.J. sounds, a snack bar to fill their craving needs and most importantly cutting edge sermons that keep teenagers coming back for more! We provide teenagers with concerts, exciting activities and crazy events where only the bold can survive! Their spiritual growth is very important to this ministry and the Lord so we have made available to teenagers a powerful disciplship program where they can check out (1) video weekly for (8) weeks which includes a study guide. An at the end of those weeks they must bring an unchurched friend to 180 and then they will will qualify for the 180 graduation, where they will recieve a bible signed by the Senior Pastor and the Youth Pastor.

Is it possible to do a Oneighty?

We believe that teenagers can change from destructive things that this world has to offer. We have witnessed the miracle work of God transform teenagers and turn their lives toward God and His Son Jesus Christ by allowing the Word of God through faith to flood their souls and renew them. They are encouraged and challenged to read, study and apply the Word of God daily in their lives.
